looks good, sturdy, NOT scratch resistant This set is a very good value for the money: 1) it is solid wood, which is hard to find at this price point; 2) it is easy to assemble in an hour or two (half of the time is spent unpacking the pieces); 3) it looks really nice; and 4) it is very sturdy.The downside: the chair seats and table top scratch very easily. Fortunately, I had the forethought to put some additional polyurethane on the table top knowing that it would take a beating. However, I did not put it on the chairs…
